Branding and packaging design for a daring, pioneering beverage product. In a marketplace dominated by big global brands and poorly designed local 'copy-cats', G represented a revolutionary approach in brand development. The founder of this brand wanted a "sexy" brand with premium positioning. Steering clear of the typical "bubbly" imagery used in branding carbonated drinks, SYNTAX responded with a minimal typographic solution. The stark design is placed on the original tin metallic surface, creating a powerful and totally differentiated position on the shelf, which propelled the brand to instant recognizability and success. SYNTAX also designed a range of branded items for clubs and restaurants, as well as a number of T-shirts with daring visuals and messages. G also moved into the super premium category with the recent release of its Acaiberry Fusion drink. This time we went with an entirely white can, and further developed the minimalistic typography treatment of the brand, again creating high visual impact on the shelf.
